Orange chicken drumsticks
Ingredients for 4 people
• 8 chicken thighs
• 3 oranges
• 2 onions
• ½ glass of white wine
• 1 bay leaf
• a few sprigs offresh oregano
• 1 tablespoon of honey
• olive oil
• salt and pepper
PREPARATION
1. First, season the chicken thighs and place them in a saucepan with alittle hot oil. When the thighs are golden brown, remove them from thecasserole and set aside.
2. In the same casserole where we have browned the thighs, sauté the cut onionsin julienne. Once these are well poached, incorporate thethighs and add the white wine. Turn up the heat and wait until thewine alcohol.
3. Pour the orange juice into the casserole, add the aromatic herbs and leavecook over low heat.
4. Right at the end, and when the thighs are very tender, add the tablespoon of honey andStir so that it is well dissolved in the broth.
